2007-2008 Biddy Rules Modifications

*12-minute Halves

In the Biddy Leagues only, instead of playing four 6-minute quarters, each game will consist of two 12-minute halves. Each half will be continuous clock until the last three minutes of each half. The last three minutes of each half will be regulation clock. If a team is up by 20 points by the final three minutes of each half, the clock will be continuous instead of regulation. Each player will still receive a minimum of 4 minutes of play time per game.

Junior Biddy Rules Modifications

*Free Subbing in 4th Quarter

In the Junior Biddy Leagues, "free subbing" is allowed in the 4th quarter of each game. All players will play a minimum of 8 minutes per game. In tournament games, free subbing is allowed in the entire second half. Each player will play a minimum of 4 minutes per game in tournament games by completion of the first half. Substitution sheets alternates will be distributed for the tournament games to ensure the 4 minute minimum in the first half of each game.

*This rule will be enforced more strictly each week as the children develop their skills*
